Site Description

On February 13, 2009.  The US Coast Guard MSU Chicago called EPA at 1400 hours to investigate an unmarked 55 gallon drum reported by the Metra Police Department along the bank of the Little Calumet River around 130th/South State Street (Chicago). USEPA OSC responded and met USCG responders on scene at 1530 hours. An investigation of the drum indicated that it was empty. Metra Police was notified of finding. USEPA Demobilized from the scene at 1630 hours.
