Site Description

Former agricultural facility in Haralson, GA has apparently experiences spills around chemical storage areas.  GA EPD issued a notice of violations to the property owner who began to remove drums from the property.  EPA mobilized both START and ERRS contractors to inventory, assess, and stabilize containers of hazardous materials on site.


Current Activities

Today OSC Nattis mobilized to the site and commenced discussions with the property owner who granted access to the EPA team.  The owner made a statement of insufficient funding to conduct a removal action.  Start began identifying the variety of chemical on site while ERRS reconned to develop a strategy and resource requirements.

There is a tenant who uses the property for storage.
