Site Description

Current Activities

Continued the air monitoring of both the perimeter and the work area.

Decontaminated tires and shipped one roll-off box of tires (6.07 tons) for recycling.

Confirmation samples were collected from the western side of the site and completed confirmation soil sampling. ERRS sent eight (8) confirmation samples to outside lab for analysis.

Completed neutralizing the excess lime material obtained for soil treatment by spreading and covering with soil.

Completed grading, compacting and installation of geofabric on top of excavated areas.

Obtained gravel fines for backfill; spread gravel fines on top of the geofabric and compacted.

Planned Removal Actions

Await confirmation sample results and document the post-removal site conditions.

Complete backfilling with gravel fines material.

Obtain and backfill topsoil on top of the gravel fines and complete grass seeding.

Restore Site, as necessary.

Next Steps

Continue the air monitoring activities.
