Current Activities

February 1 through 7, 2004:  ERRS subcontractor (1) ERRS subcontractor  conducted operations and maintenance activities, including cleaning the fuel extraction pumps. .   A total of 127 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

February 8 through 14, 2004:  ERRS Subcontractor (1)  ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities, including cleaning the fuel extraction pumps. .  A total of 129 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

February 15 through 21, 2004:  ERRS Subcontractor (1)  ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities, including cleaning the fuel extraction pumps.  A total of 133 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

February 22 through 29, 2004:  ERRS Subcontracotr (1) ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities, including cleaning the fuel extraction pumps.  A total of 135 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.


Planned Removal Actions

-Continue operation of the treatment system for another 6 month period and re-evaluate.  This will complete a full year of product recovery over a full season of groundwater fluctuations.


Next Steps

-Transportation and Disposal of recovered product as needed.
-EPA will re-evaluate the need to operate the system after 6-months.


Key Issues

IDEQ purchased treatment system and will provide collection services under an amended pollution removal funding authorization (PRFA).  Funding budgets have changed to incorporate increase in PRFA funding.  PRFA-IDEQ budget increased from $8,000 to $20,000 (increase of $12,000).  EPA budget decreased from $42,000 to $30,000 (decrease of $12,000)
