From August 10 to August 14, 2009, U.S. EPA continued to remove the PCB capacitors from their racks and placed the capacitors in Gaylord boxes for shipment.
To date, U.S. EPA has packaged and shipped for incineration 1,298 of the 3,744 capacitors to Veolia Environmental Services, 7769 Highway 73, Port Arthur, Texas 77640.
U.S. EPA has shipped 22,741 gallons of PCB oil, for incineration, to the Clean Harbors Dear Park facility, 2027 Independence Parkway South, La Porte, Texas 77571 and 15,908 gallons of PCB oil for incireration to Violia Environmental Services, 7769 Highway 73, Port Arthur, Texas 77640.
Additionally, U.S. EPA located two PCB transformers from which Marine Pollution Control drained a total of 636 gallons of PCB oil.
