Current Activities

During this reporting period approximately 12 gals of oil and 44 gals of contaminated water were retrieved.  The new updated totals are now as of Oct 31, 2009: 4,550 gals of oil and 51,945 gals of contaminated water retrieved.

No problems were encountered during this reporting period.

Next Steps

A full scale fluid recovery event will be conducted during the month at Sump D, as this sump had a detectable thickness of free product during the prior month’s monitoring that measured 0.08 feet thick. Subsequent measurement of product in Sumps A, B, C, D, V or X and large rain events occurring during the month will also receive scrutiny for additional full scale extraction events.

Additionally, we will continue to monitor free-product from the wells at the Facility periodically each week and any free-product accumulating in the wells will be removed on a daily basis.
