Oil adsorbent socks will be placed in Sumps C and D in lieu of further recovery by hand bailing, pumping or enhanced vacuum recovery. Subsequent measurement of product in Sumps A, B, C, or D occurring during the month will also receive scrutiny for additional full scale extraction events.
The carbon treatment system has not been utilized for the discharge of waters since 2007, therefore Fogle’s will notify the MDE Oil Control Program of its interest in closing NPDES permit no. MDG915042.

After discussion with RP representative on Jan 6, 2010. The following work plan modifications were agreed upon:
Monitoring of the following wells, sumps and trench points will be conducted on a quarterly basis beginning in January and occurring in April, July and October of each year to verify the absence of free product. Wells MW-A02, MW-A03, TMW-B2, RX-V1, RX-X1, MW-FGL-01, MW-FGL-02, RX-V1, and RX-X1, Sumps A, B, and trench points W, X, Y, Z for free product since December 2008. Sump C had 0.03 feet of product reported in February and March 2009, but otherwise was absent of any oil.
Monitoring of TPH concentrations in soils at the farm will be conducted on an annual basis beginning in May 2010.
Monitoring of TPH concentrations in soils at the facility will be conducted on an annual basis with the next event to be conducted in August 2010.
.Oil adsorbent socks will be placed in Sumps C and D in place of further Enhanced Fluid Recovery by pumping. Sump D has had on average 0.04 feet of product reported since December 2008, with a maximum of 0.23 feet in December 2009. Accumulation of free product on the socks will be monitored monthly with replacement occurring as necessary to prevent oil saturation. The need for additional EFR pumping events at sumps C and D will be evaluated with each event.
