1.1.2 Site Description - Single tenant truck stop and fueling station.

1.1.2.1 Location - 2201 East 16th Avenue, Cordele, GA 31015

1.1.2.2 Description of Threat - oil discharge to storm drain system

1.1.3 Preliminary Removal Assessment/Removal Site Inspection Results - A fuel leak at a Pilot truck stop was identified when a driver's dog returned coated in diesel fuel. Operators at the truck stop denied that the material was diesel fuel and failed to notify. Later the operator hired ERTS to manage the discharge. EPA OSC Ball dispatched to assess impact to water and whether response actions are appropriate. GA EPD has referred the site to the UST program.
