Site Description

Please refer to Initial POLREP.

Current Activities

During this period, the Site was shutdown for the majority of this period, due to the Site being evacuated for Hurricane Ivan.  However, all liquid wastes and sludges from the drums were shipped off Site.

Absence of some fence damage associated with a tree that fell, the Site did not sustain any major impacts from Hurricane Ivan.

Planned Removal Actions

Continue bulking wastes into like waste streams.

Remove five UST's located on site, as well as three AST's on site.

Next Steps

-Mobe back to the Site and ramp up removal operations.

-Removal of sludges in the USTs.

-Removal of UST and AST's.

-Request bids for crane services associated with removing the AST's.

Key Issues

Analyzing sampling data to determine the extent of soil needing to be removed.
