Current Activities

November 1 through 7, 2004:  ERRS Subcontracotr (1) ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities.  A total of 190 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

November 8 through 14, 2004:  ERRS Subcontracotr (1) ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities.  A total of 190gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

November 15 through 21, 2004:  ERRS Subcontracotr (1) ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities.  A total of 190 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

November 22 through 30, 2004:  ERRS Subcontracotr (1) ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities.  A total of 190 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.


Planned Removal Actions

-Continue to recover oil.
-In January/February time frame, install groundwater depression pumping system inside of the current extraction wells to increase the efficiency of oil removal.


Next Steps

-Transportation and Disposal of recovered product as needed.
-EPA submitted an amended Oil Removal Project Plan to address the installation of groundwater depression pumping systems based upon the finding of oil in adjacent off site wells.  This system will increase the efficiency of oil removal.  
-EPA will operate these systems for 6 months and then re-evaluate.
