2.1.1 Narrative

SWPPP controls and BMPs were inspected onsite prior to work each day. Goldfield Mine Road was inspected visually and sampled using an XRF for contamination daily. The road tested clean on all days. Approximately 2,500 cubic yards (cyds) of contaminated material was removed from the mill area and placed on the impoundment. Trees were inspected for animals and nests prior to the removal of trees in the mill area. Approximately 4,500 cyds of contaminated material north of Harrier Creek Road was excavated and placed on the impoundment. Approximately 100 yards of scrap metal was hauled off-Site and sent to a recycling facility in Coeur D’Alene, ID. The HDPE liner was sealed on November 10th. Approximately 55 gallons of waste oil was transported to the ACI Republic office and will be disposed of by Emerald Services at a later date.

Sampling:

Air samples were collected from three locations on November 11th, and November 12th.

Air samples were sent for lab analysis to Pace Analytical Services.

Anticipated Activities for November 17th to November 21st:
