Site Description

This site is a former pesticide formulation and packaging facility, and was the subject of corrective action by USEPA in 1982.  Deterioration of the containment cap has raised concerns over potential health impacts from chlorinated pesticides.

Contamination of surrounding properties was addressed by previous TCEQ actions.

Current Activities

The final report is now posted on this site, in the "documents" section.

Planned Removal Actions

As appropriate following review of assessment data, and input from community and other stakeholders

Next Steps

Discussion of the final report and proposed options at a public meeting in Mission on 01/26/06.

The OSC does not necessarily receive specific figures on final payments made to any contractor(s). Other financial data which the OSC must rely upon may not be entirely up-to-date. The cost accounting provided in this report does not necessarily represent an exact monetary figure which the government may include in any claim for cost recovery.
