Site Description

On April 16, 2007, a security breach at the Harman Spring water facility for the City of Orting caused all water in the town to shut down until further testing.  In the evening of April 16th, EPA's Emergency Response Program was requested to provide assistance to the City after the town's contract lab could not analyze water samples within a 48 hour time frame.  At 1030pm, OSC Terada and two START contractors were mobiled to the scene, but then were later recalled after the town's contract lab informed them that they would meet the time specified.
