During this reporting period approximately 3 gals of oil and 425 gals of contaminated water were retrieved.  The new updated totals are now as of April 30, 2007: 4,030 gals of oil and 39,482 gals of contaminated water.

The TPH-GRO and DRO laboratory reports for the soil samples collected
in April 2007 during the three-month performance evaluation in the area of the bioventing system ranged from non-detected
(less than 5 mg/kg) along the eastern perimeter to 13,220 mg/kg at B2
(29 ft below grade) in the center of the impacted area.  On average, total TPH concentrations have decreased about 33 percent in the
first three months. The next monitoring event (6 months after startup) is scheduled for the end of July 2007.

In accordance with Section 3.3 of the EPA-approved Abatement Plan,
ERM submitted the replanting diagram to Episcopal Ministries of the
Aging (EMA) on 30 March 2007. Fogle’s and ERM met with
representatives of EMA on 18 April to discuss the planting scheme.
Planting of the hybrid poplar trees along the unnamed tributary is
scheduled to occur during mid May.

A full scale fluid recovery event will be conducted during the first week of the month at Sump D, as it was the only sump in the seep area that had a detectable thickness of free product during the prior month’s monitoring. Large rain events occurring during the month will also receive scrutiny for additional full scale extraction events.

If the carbon treatment system is utilized for the discharge of waters, Fogle’s will collect an effluent sample from Outfall-001 as required by the Site’s NPDES permit.
