7/2/07 Intermet’s subcontractor NIAPRO shipped pallet scale off site. They will have no more activity for the week.
PADEP Morettini and Hoffman mobilized to site to assist in site overview and coordination of site activities. PADEP Morettini and Hoffman demobilized.
ERRS contractor Guardian had its subcontractor New Castle Lock & Key on site to replace motion sensor on gate 2.
START noticed that there was standing water outside of gate 2 that seemed to be flowing under the brick wall. START investigated the seepage and found that the water was flowing from under ground. A broken water pipe was suspected to be the problem. START assisted as needed, conducted written and photographic documentation, and monitored activities conducted on site.
7/03/07 PADEP Morettini, Shimko, and Hoffman mobilized to site to assist in site overview and coordination of site activities. PADEP Shimko will be working with START on the drilling of monitoring wells. PADEP Shimko was informed of STARTs drilling plans and location of each well to be dug. PADEP Morettini, Shimko, and Hoffman demobilized.
PA American Water investigated water leak and decided that they would by pass the previous lines and put new lines connecting from their main line. The leak is from preexisting lines on site and is on the water company’s side of the meter.
START assisted as needed, conducted written and photographic documentation, and monitored activities conducted on site.
7/05/07 START was assisted by ex Remacor employee Tom Matesic in locating utilities on site in preparation for drilling. Mr. Matesic had been an engineer for Remacor and had knowledge of were certain utilities were located.

7/06/07 PADEP Wozniak arrived on site to turn off air samplers. PADEP Wozniak demobilized.
PA Drilling was on site to assess locations for monitoring wells.
