Current Activities

The U.S. EPA collected air samples during demolition activities from August 27 to 31, 2007.  The data was submitted to the State for evaluation.  Samples were taken for silica, metals, asbestos and particulates. Data was submitted to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Minnesota Department of Health.
The data showed no exceedances to any established contaminant levels.


Planned Removal Actions

None at this time.


Next Steps

If there is a future need for sampling, which is unforseen at this time, the State agencies will handle it.
