Current Activities

On March 28, 2008, EPA amended the Clean Water Act 311c Order to Greka to implement a schedule for the disposal of waste from the site.

Greka has been directed to removed all waste in roll-off-bins by April 15, 2008.  Greka has been directed to remove all liquid waste by May 1, 2008.  The liquid waste may be put into their system for injection (water) or recycling (oil).  All liquids not removed by May 1, 2008, will have to be sent off-site for disposal.

The restoration work on the roads must be completed by May 5 ,2008.  The restoration work on the County Road Yard must be completed by April 4, 2008.  The restoration of the Firestone Winery Warehouse pad must be completed within 5 days of the removal of the last bin.  A copy of this document will be placed on the website for review.  Failure to comply with these deadlines will constitute a violation of the order.
