EPA and its ERRs contractor have finalized the SOW for trommel sifting activities. The SOW provides the coordination document for EPA, Start and ERRs for this proposed screening operation of the firehole soils and previously staged soils from last year's activities. The schedule for initiation of this screening operation utilizing the trommel is mobilization on April 23/24. Screening of the previously staged soils will commence during the week of April 28 and the screening of the firehole soils to commence after completion. During the weeks of April 14 and 28, ERRs contractor will implement the approved trommel site prep sow, which includes construction of erosion control measures, pre staging of to be screened soils, construction of trommel pad and repair of Fisher Lane for ingress of the large trommel mixer.
