Site Description

The Jones Road Ground Water Plume Site is a ground water plume contaminated with tetrachloroethylene from the former Bell Dry Cleaners at 11600 Jones Road and other potential sources in northwest Harris County, Texas.  The plume was originally detected in a public water supply well between Jones Road and Tower Oaks Blvd.  


Current Activities

Construction of the waterline is on-going and nearing completion. Daily construction activities are assessed and documented.  Scheduling and planning is being done for residents and business owners within the plume boundary to receive water service.

Crews are working to keep streets clear and make repairs of driveways, mailboxes and such that are damaged during the work.


Planned Removal Actions

None at this time. Remedial actions are being implemented.
