On June 6, 2008, Greka's contractor, American Integrated Services notified OSC Wise via e-mail that the temporary storage tanks at the site were all cleaned. On June 10, 2008, Greka notified OSC Wise via e-mail that they were arranging for the removal of the cleaned tanks. On June 25, 2008, OSC Wise and START were on-site at Zaca and observed a single temporary storage tank from the cleanup on-site. When the inside of the tank was examined, it was discovered that the tank contained at least 1' of oil sludge. This contradicts the two e-mails previously recieved by OSC Wise.
OSC Wise directed Greka to have that tank cleaned and removed no later then June 27, 2008. In addition, OSC Wise directed Greka to remove the plastic and debris from the two tank storage areas on the Firestone Winery property and grade the area smooth, also by June 27.
