Continued the excavation of the contaminated areas.
Approximately 1200 cubic yards of PCB-contaminated soils and 450 cubic yards on non-PCB-contaminated soils have been excavated and stockpiled so far.
Continued the segregation of the drums and containers.
190 drums have been removed to date.
Began setting up for transportation and disposal of the contaminated soils.
Continued the air monitoring of both the perimeter and the work area.
Loaded and hauled 25 tons of PCB-contaminated soil to the disposal facility for landfilling.

• Continue hauling excavated soils from site, once a proper disposal facility has been coordinated. • Continue excavation operations.

The disposal facility analytical indicated high levels of lead and TCE for some of the waste. As a result of this,this portion of the waste will either have to be treated on site or incinerated.
