Site Description

See initial PolRep.


Current Activities

Continued the on-site treatment of contaminated soils by using quick lime, in order to reduce the TCLP levels of lead.  Approximately 300 cubic yards of materials were treated.

Began removing the contents of the excavated drums.

Continued the air monitoring of both the perimeter and the work area.

Collected one composite sample from the treated soils for analysis by an outside lab. Analytical test results indicated that the soil treatment was successful.

Transported and disposed off approximately 75 tons of PCB-contaminated soils.
