Continued the on-site treatment of contaminated soils by using quick lime, in order to reduce the TCLP levels of lead. Approximately 160 cubic yards of materials were treated (approximately 890 total cubic yards).
Continued the air monitoring of both the perimeter and the work area.
Collected one composite sample from the treated soils and one composite sample from pre-treated stockpiled soils for analysis by an outside lab. Analytical test results indicated that the soil treatment was successful.
Continued the excavation of areas of concern. Approximately 400 cubic yards of contaminated soils (2025 total cubic yards), 40 drums (291 total drums) and 2 paint cans (48 total paint cans) were removed.
