Current Activities
Removal activities for this reporting period include:

The Emergency Response and Removal Services (ERRS) contractor continues site removal activities including:
- Completion excavation of the drainage ditch along Railroad Ave;
- Excavation, backfilling, and front lawn restoration of residential property along Railroad Avenue;
- Removal of treated soils and debris, T&D to date:  soils-237 truck loads totaling 7462.46 cubic yards, construction & non-hazardous debris - 52 truck loads, 728.40 tons
- Base soils backfilling of excavated areas to date: 5310 cubic yards.


Planned Removal Actions
- Base soils backfilling in all excavated areas;
- Site grading;
- Top soil backfilling in all excavated areas;
- Site grass hydro-seeding;
- Equipment demobilization.


Next Steps
Future actions included:
- Site demobilization preparations;
- Repaving of a road which provides access from Foundry street to Highway 77.  The road was gutted during the process of T&D removal.


Key Issues
The Major and a City of Lincoln representative conducted a site walkthrough to discuss Site conditions including drainage, final Site grading, the ditch area, and road repaving.
