Site Description

Jerome instrumentation both confirmed slightly elevated airborne mercury levels at approximately two inches above the floor.  No airbone readings were detected at any distance greater than two inches from the floor. Hazmat contractor was directed by PRP to perform massive cleanup throughout apartment including the removal of furniture, carpet, wood, as well as baseboards and other crevices where liquid mercury may reside. Residents were temporarily relocated at a nearby hotel by the property management. Contractor worked entire weekend  contractor. Airborne levels  dropped measurably to below 2000 - 3000ng/m3.
