NRC#790049 - Heflin, AL - ADEM requested assistance w/ air monitoring at a fire at a former heavy metal recycling facility in Clebourne County. Out of concern for exposure to hazardous materials, local volunteer Fire Department and EMA deferred the response to ADEM. The main contaminant of concern was lead. EPA OSC Webster, along with START, was dispatched to provide assistance.
