US EPA Region 4 Phone Duty Officer received a phone call from Bladen County Sheriffs Department requesting assistance referencing a vial of unknown substance. The vial was brought in to the Sheriffs Dept by a citizen who had stated that she found it in a "swap room", where people bring in items that someone else may need. The vial had a label that had "EPA cyanide". EPA Region 4 Phone Duty Officer dispatched OSC Rhame to the Sheriffs Dept.
