EPA received NRC Report #927101 called in by the Houston Fire Department reporting a large unknown sheen on Hunting Bayou, Houston, Texas. OSC Enders made follow-up call to the Houston Fire Department who requested assistance from EPA.   Reports of strong odor in residential neighborhoods and at least one transport to the hospital were reported.  The source of the material has not been located at this time. An EPA Team has been mobilized to assess site conditions, monitor and provide assistance as needed. TCEQ, DOI and EPA External affairs have been notified.
