1.1.1 Incident Category - Emergency

1.1.2 Site Description - Fixed facility in urban area within the shadow of Hartsfield-Jackson International airport.

1.1.2.1 Location - 17 Lake Mirror Drive, Forest Park, GA

1.1.2.2 Description of Threat - There was potential for oil not consumed in the fire to be discharged with fire fighting run-off water into waters of the United States.  Firther, The heat of the fire could potentially build up sufficient pressure in the neighboring chlorine tanks to vent those tanks resulting in a chlorine release to the atmosphere.

1.1.3 Preliminary Removal Assessment/Removal Site Inspection Results - By the time the OSC arrived the local Fire and Mutual Aid groups had extinguished the fire.  There was no sheen observed in the run-off water.  No indication of released chlorine.

2.1.2 Response Actions to Date - OSC met with Incident Command for Situation Brief, then witnessed Clayton Fire Department apply a stream of water to the suspect tank.  OSC inspected run-off flow to storm drain  Local Law Enforcement maintained a clear corridor around the site for emergency vehicles.
