    2.1.1 Narrative

EPA mobilized to the Site on 22 August 2011 and started cleanup actions on those properties where cleanup was postponed during 2010 because of access, schedule, and winter conditions.  EPA completed cleanup actions and demobilized from the Site on 25 October 2011  


2.1.2 Response Actions to Date

Removed the interim gravel protective barriers placed at four locations during 2010 and excavated the underlying asbestos-contaminated fill materials and excavated the asbestos-contaminated fill materials found at another three locations.  All excavated materials, except recovered ACP which was transported off-Site for disposal, were consolidated at a fourth location beneath a protective barrier, and the interim barrier placed on one property during 2010 was deemed final.  In total, 21 properties were addressed by EPA during 2010 and 2011.
