On Wednesday, Feb 9th, TDEC Oil and Gas' Jeff Patton reported on oil spill from the Lucy Newberry #16 Oil Well along Gib Young Lane in Monroe, Overton Co, Tenn. Approximately 5-8 barrels of oil had saturated the soil around the pump jack near an unnamed creek to the West Fork of the Obey River.
