Anhydrous Ammonia - Cedar Creek Tank

Description: Orphaned anhydrous ammonia tank in the Missouri River. The tank was identified near Claysville, just west of Jefferson City. The tank volume is reportedly between 1,000 and 2,000 gallons with no clear labeling indicating an owner. MDNR has not been able to determine tank ownership and it is currently unknown how full the tank remains. No leaking has been reported and the tank appears undamaged.
