Site Description
On May 18, 2004, U.S. EPA responded to a request from the Detoit Fire Department for a possible WMD event.  Upon entry, a number of WMD associated items were found on-site.

Current Activities
1.  Assessment of the laboratory for WMD agents and initiated evidence collection.
2.  Initial assessment of the truck.  Positive identification of chemical nerve agent and radiation were identified.


Planned Removal Actions
1.  Support FBI crime scene investigation (air monitoring, hazcatting, sampling if required)
2.  Access and monitor the cab to gain intelligence prior to opening the rear of the truck and open rear of truck (incrementally) to assess, monitor, photo document and take inventory.


Next Steps
1.  Perform additional entries to assess the situation.
2.  Provide chemical, radiological and biological sampling, monitoring, and sample identification.
