Current Activities
AGC is continuing to gain access to residential properties to conduct sampling activities. AGC collected samples from 7 residential and 7 vacant lot property soil samples during August 23 to 31, 2005.  AGC collected samples from 3 residential and 3 vacant lot property soil samples during September 1 to 2, 2005.
-Residential properties were sampled by collecting 5-point composite soil samples.  One composite was collected from 0-3" and one from 6-12" depth.  Each residential property was sampled from the front yard and the backyard.  Additional samples were collected from gardens and play area, if applicable. Vacant lots were divided into four quadrants and a 5-point composite soil sample was collected from each of quadrant and from 0-3" and 6-12" depth
•AGC screened 3 residential and 7 vacant lot soil samples for lead with an  X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) instrument on August 26, 2005. AGC screened 17 residential and 17 vacant lot soil samples for lead with the XRF instrument on September 6 and 7, 2005.
•AGC currently has signed access agreements for 169 properties and sampled a total of 128 properties.  Of those 128, six had XRF lead readings below the cleanup action level of 400 ppm. The other 122 properties would have to be partially or completed remediated.
•ENTACT began excavating properties on August 24, 2005.  ENTACT has excavated 6 vacant properties.  ENTACT will begin excavating residential properties after Labor Day weekend.  ENTACT has not begun backfilling activities.

Planned Removal Actions
1) PRP to continue gaining access agreements to properties.
2) PRP to continue to sample properties where access agreements have been signed.
3) Continue excavation of those properties that have had XRF screenings above 400 ppm.
4) Begin backfilling excavated properties.

Next Steps
1) Continue gaining access and sampling residential properties.
2) Continue excavation of residential properties that have results above 400 ppm.

Key Issues
-Two property owners have given written denial to access their property for sampling.
-One property owner has denied access to excavate their property.
