Site Description
The Removal Action is complete.  The removal of the last item, 5 sealed sources encased in concrete, completed all activity on the Site.  The 5 sources were Cesium-137 and Cobalt-60 with total activity of 1.244 Curies.

The building and all other structures including the septic tank have been removed.  All contaminated soil was excavated and disposed of offsite.  The Site was brought back to level grade with clean fill dirt and seed spread to mitigate erosion.

Planned Removal Actions
No other Removal Actions are anticipated to be conducted at the Gulf Nuclear Site.
