Site Description
The Time-Critical Removal Action at the Tracy Lead Battery Site in Tracy, MN began on September 16, 2008.  The removal activities during this construction season are confided to the 361 South 4th Street property.  During the 2009 construction season, the operations will expand to all 3 properties.

The removal activities performed to date are tree cutting, chipping of trees and brush, and general clearing and grubbing.

The excavation of lead-contaminated soil will begin the week of September 22, 2008.

Removal costs to date are not available at this time.
