Site Description

Current Activities
Began the on-site soil treatment of the contaminated soils by using quick lime, in order to reduce the TCLP levels of lead. Approximately 200 cubic yards of materials were treated.

Continued the air monitoring of both the perimeter and the work area.

Collected two soil samples for analysis by an outside lab.

Sample soil stockpiles & generate waste profiles

Overpack/Repack Drums & Containers

Excavate/Treat Impacted Soils, as necessary

Next Steps
Continue the on-site treatment of contaminated soils.

Sample the treated material and arrange for disposal.

Transportation and disposal of PCB contaminated soils with TCLP lead levels below the regulatory limit.

Prepare for the treatment of the contents of the drums.
