Current Activities
Continued the air monitoring of both the perimeter and the work area.

Continued the excavation of areas of concern.  Approximately 395 cubic yards of contaminated soils (2420 total cubic yards), 27 drums (318 total drums) and 6 paint cans (54 total paint cans) were excavated.

Relocated Command Post due to loss of lease.



Planned Removal Actions
Remove and Sample Drums & Containers.

Sample soil stockpile & generate waste profiles.

Perform Hazard Categorization.

Excavate/Treat Impacted Soils, as necessary.

Transport/Dispose Drums & Impacted Soils.

Backfill & Grade Excavated Areas.

Restore Site, as necessary.


Next Steps
Transportation and disposal of treated soils.

Continue the excavation of contaminated soils and buried drums.

Continue the air monitoring and sampling activities.

Continue the treatment of the mixed PCB waste.
