Site Description
See previous PolReps.

Current Activities
Clean up activities resumed on August 12, 2008.  There are 34 houses with acute arsenic levels over 95 ug/kg, that will be addressed this construction season.

As in the previous years, excavation of arsenic contaminated soils from affected residential properties will be to a 12 inches depth.

Contrary to previiuos years, this time we are using a landscaping contractor to hydroseed the yards.  Our crews excavate and backfill the affected areas, and the landscaping company comes in for the hydroseeding.  Our workers then water the lawns for 2 weeks to make sure the grass cover is established.

Planned Removal Actions
Complete excavation and backfill of the imapcted properties, and get them restored.

Next Steps
This project is listed on the National Priorities List.  Therefore, the Remedial Program will come in and address about 500 properties with chronic arsenic levels.

Key Issues
None at this time.
