Site Description

Current Activities
During this reporting period the USACE/Plexus continued with weekly oil extraction/slurping operations.  Three extraction events ocurred during this reporting period on 5/04, 5/11 and 5/18.  The total liquids extracted to date includes 12,725 gals of contaminated water and 2346 gals of oil.  Weekly extraction events will continue.  USACE/Plexus will hand off the extraction activities to Fogle's contractor, ERM Inc. after the next event scheduled for 5/25.  

During this reporting period Fogle's notified the FOSC of its project coordinator as per the AOC.  In addition Fogle's terminated its prime contractor, EMG Inc, and replaced them with ERM.  Fogle's submitted ERM's qualifications to the FOSC as per the AOC.  On 5/19/05 Fogle's submitted the RAP (Removal Action Plan) as per the AOC, for FOSC review and approval.


Planned Removal Actions
Continue with oil extraction activities on a weekly basis.  Review of RAP and implementation thereof to ascertain source and remediation thereof.
