Site Description
Refer to previous polreps.

Current Activities
During this reporting period the USACE/Plexus continued with weekly oil extraction/slurping operations.  Three extraction events ocurred during this reporting period on 5/25, 6/1 and 6/9.  The total liquids extracted thru 6/9  includes 13,914 gals of contaminated water and  2489 gals of fuel oil.  Weekly extraction events will continue.  During this reporting period the USACE and its contractor, Plexus were officially demobilized from the site.  ERM, (Fogle's contractor), performed extraction of oil from the sump area.

On 5/25/05 the FOSC met with Fogle's reps and property owner, (EMA), reps to discuss site access issues for Fogle's and site restoration activities.  Since EMA owns the property most impacted by this release it is important to obtain their input into eventual site restoration plans.

On 05/31/05 the FOSC approved the Response Action Plan (RAP) as per AOC Section IX.  The RAP provides the outline for work under this AOC.  The next milestone is FOSC approval of an Extent of Contamination Study.  On June 2, 2005 ERM forwarded a draft Extent of Contamination Study to the FOSC.
