Current Activities
During this reporting period the Responsible Party's contractor, ERM Inc., continued weekly oil extraction activities.   The total liquids extracted thru 2/31/07 includes 38,446gals of contaminated water and 4,004 gals of fuel oil.  Weekly extraction events will continue.

ERM and Fogle's personnel will continue to inspect and replace sorbents in the creek as part of the required work under this AOC.

Work Initiated Under the Final Abatement Plan:

ERM submitted a replanting plan for EPA and the property owner, EMA, to review and comment. The Plan is specific to the EMA property where the seeps emanate.

Planned Removal Actions
Work continues on seep abatement, product recovery and the final Abatement Plan.

Key Issues
The USACE, Baltimore District, finalized its internal and contractor costs and forwarded all documentation onto the NPFC. Under the PRFA document established for this action, the USACE was required to submit all cost documentation to the NPFC within 90 days after project completion.  The USACE interpreted project completion to be defined as when they receive final payment from the NPFC and not project demobilization of personnel and equipment.
