2.1.2 Response Actions to Date

From December 20 until December 22, 2010
        • WSP loaded and transported site stormwater to Action Environmental in Fort Wayne, Indiana for disposal.
        • On December 21, 2010, approximately 48 potentially responsible parties were sent a general notice letter and a draft administrative settlement agreement.
        • On December 21, 2010, WSP demobilized from the site for the holidays and are scheduled to continue site activities on January 3, 2011.
        • On December 21, 2010, labpacked materials by ERRS from the laboratory on the southwest corner of the Administration Building were transported and disposed of by PSC Environmental Services in Detroit, MI.
        • ERRS were on site and hauled out 11 loads (approximately 64,600 gal) of oily water for disposal at United Wastewater in Cincinnati, OH.
        • ERRS discharged stormwater from SS-17 in the southwest area to the City of Indianapolis sanitary sewer. Approximately 34,825.3 gal of stormwater was discharged, for a total of 49,942.9 gal from the 84,000 gal allotted in the current permit.
        • USEPA has posted a Draft ESI Emergency Contingency Plan.
        • On December 22, 2010, USEPA/START/ERRS demobilized from the site for the holidays and are scheduled to continue site activities on January 3, 2011.
