From March 3 until March 11, 2011

 

  • On March 3, 2011, ERRS discharged 67,311 gal of stormwater from the southwest area to the City of Indianapolis sanitary system, for a total of 240,175.8 gal of the allotted 1 million gal in the modified SDA issued on February 15, 2011.  Discharge event information was reported to the City.
  • On March 3, 2011, ERRS placed absorbent boom in two areas of the stormwater drainage ditch on the southeast corner of the northeast area of the site, in the event of a perimeter curb stormwater breach due to heavy precipitation. 
  • On March 5, 2011, ERRS hauled out 16 loads (96,000 gal) of oily water from the east million gallon bunker tank for disposal at United Water in Cincinnati, OH.
  • On March 8, 2011, ERRS hauled out 10 loads (48,000 gal) of oily water from the east million gallon bunker tank for disposal at United Water in Cincinnati, OH.
  • On March 8, 2011, ERRS discharged 35,830 gal of stormwater from the southwest area to the City of Indianapolis sanitary system, for a total of 276,005.8 gal of the allotted 1 million gal in the modified SDA issued on February 15, 2011.  Discharge event information was reported to the City.
  • On March 9, 2011, ERRS hauled out 3 loads (18,000 gal) of oily water from the east million gallon bunker tank for disposal at United Water in Cincinnati, OH. 
  • On March 9, 2011, Todd Hassold of Environmental Services was on site regarding remediation of Tank 51.

2.1.3 Enforcement Activities, Identity of Potentially Responsible Parties (PRPs)

A draft Administrative Settlement Agreement on Consent (ASAOC) is currently being negotiated with PRPs.
