- Trihydro pumped stormwater in the Tank 51 secondary containment into the frac tank located just north of the Administration Building.
- Trihydro discharged approximately 30,000 gal of northeast area stormwater treated by the GAC system to Oil Creek.
- EQ continued constructing the access ramp(s) on the north end of the Tank 51 secondary containment.
On December 6, 2011, Midwest hauled off 1 loads (6,200 gal) of oily water from the primary separator pit to the United Waste Water Inc. facility in Cincinnati, OH.
- 0.1” of rain fell overnight.

- Midwest hauled off (2) 40 cyd roll-off box of solidified sludge to Southside Landfill in Indianapolis, IN
- Midwest received (3) 25 ton load of sawdust solidification media from Burton Lumber Co Inc. of Lexington, IN.
- Midwest received (2) 50,000 pound loads of wood pulp solidification media from Appleton Papers, Inc. in Dayton, OH.
- Midwest received (2) 20 ton loads of lime solidification media from Mintec.
- Midwest solidified sludge in the east and west million gallon bunker tank with the long-reach excavators and sawdust, lime, and wood pulp solidification media.
- Midwest continued solidification in the solidification pits with sawdust, lime, and wood pulp solidification media.
- Midwest continued cleaning boxes containing sludge on the west side of the DAF tanks.
- Midwest relabeled some acid hazardous waste drums (west side of the DAF and API tanks, ground level), since the writing on these drums was fading.
- EQ continued constructing the access ramp(s) on the north end of the Tank 51 secondary containment.
- Trihydro pumped stormwater in the Tank 51 secondary containment into the frac tank located just north of the Administration Building.
- Trihydro discharged approximately 30,000 gal of northeast area stormwater treated by the GAC system to Oil Creek.
On December 7, 2011, Midwest hauled off 2 loads (12,400 gal) of oily water from the control structure and the frac tank containing Tank 51 containment water to the United Waste Water Inc. facility in Cincinnati, OH.
- Midwest hauled off (27) 20 cyd roll-off boxes of solidified sludge to Southside Landfill in Indianapolis, IN.
- Midwest hauled off (4) 40 cyd roll-off box of solidified sludge to Southside Landfill in Indianapolis, IN.
- Midwest received (4) 25 ton loads of sawdust solidification media from Burton Lumber Co Inc. of Lexington, IN.
- Midwest received (5) 50,000 pound loads of wood pulp solidification media from Appleton Papers, Inc. in Dayton, OH.
- Midwest received (3) 20 ton loads of lime solidification media from Mintec.
- Midwest solidified sludge in the east and west million gallon bunker tank with the long reach excavator and sawdust solidification media.
- During solidification activities in the west million gallon tank, a crack was noticed in the west wall where the excavator has been staged.
- Midwest continued solidification in the solidification pits with sawdust, lime, and wood pulp solidification media.
- Midwest completed cleaning boxes containing sludge on the west side of the DAF tanks.
- EQ continued constructing the access ramp(s) on the north end of the Tank 51 secondary containment.
- EQ constructed a solidification pad (work zone) on the south side of Tank 51.
- EQ started pumping pumpable Tank 51 contents into a solidification box and mixing it with paper pulp solidification media.
- AVS cleaned pipe runs connecting to Tank 51.
- TriHydro discharged approximately 25,000 gal of northeast area stormwater treated by the GAC system to Oil Creek.
- The PRP Group/TriHydro submitted a modified Tank 51 work plan.
On December 8, 2011, Midwest hauled off 3 loads (17,500 gal) of oily water from the SS-23 and the frac tank containing Tank 51 containment water to the United Waste Water Inc. facility in Cincinnati, OH.
