2.1.2 Response Actions to Date 

    On April 27, 2012, no rain fell over night or during the day.
     
    • Trihydro requested visual inspection of the solidification pits.  No product was visible on the floors or walls of the solidification pits, and the condition was documented with photos.

    • AVS completed deconning the solidification pits.

    • TM Salvage collected stockpiled scrap in the northeast area.

    • TM Salvage crews continued picking up insulation from Tank 51. 

    On May 2, 2012, 1.48” of rain fell over night and 0.06" during the day.

    • Trihydro discharged approximately 36,000 gallons of GAC system treated stormwater to Oil Creek.
    • Trihydro collected the weekly GAC discharge samples.
    • TM Salvage crew cut the roof off of Tank 51.

    • Approximately 500 tons of gravel and sand was delivered to the site 

    On May 3, 2012, no rain fell over night or during the day.

    • HyGrade excavated approximately 100 loads (2,000 tons) of clay backfill to be used in the east and west bunker tanks.
      • HyGrade begins adding the clay back fill to both bunker tanks 
    • Trihydro discharged approximately 35,000 gallons of GAC system treated stormwater to Oil Creek.
    • Approximately 360 tons of gravel and sand was delivered to the site 
    • TM Salvage crew continues to scrap Tank 51. 

    • The fire marshall and city inspector visited the site.

    On May 4, 2012, no rain fell overnight.

    • Approximately 500 tons of gravel and sand was delivered to the site
    • HyGrade continues to add the clay back fill to both bunker tanks 
    • Trihydro discharged approximately 18,600 gallons of GAC system treated stormwater to Oil Creek
