FEMA has issued a mission assignment to EPA to staff the ESF#10 desk at the FEMA RRCC.
2.1.2 Response Actions to Date
As of January 1, 2016
MDNR:
MDNR reported they were monitoring several locations where water was cresting or forecasted to crest in the near future. Three large pumps have been brought in for Valley Park retention pond. The pumps are controlling the water height in the pond. MDNR SEOC are continuing to monitor flooding and haz mat concerns.
On the drinking water/waste water side MDNR is currently working with Jefferson County PWSD#2 (High Ridge) on their efforts to get the system back on line. They are currently under a boil order. They have successfully connected with MO American Water yesterday, but that is only serving about 1/3 of the system. MONG is trucking water to the storage tanks and deploying water purification systems, but they are not going to be able to keep up with the demand. MDNR is working on a plan moving forward after a conference call this a.m. between MDNR, SEMA, and the impacted system.
Birds Point Levee
The USCG conducted an over-flight of the New Madrid floodway on Thursday, December 31, 2015.

Currently the RRCC is Activated to a Level 3 24/7 response. USACE was activated by FEMA to the RRCC on December 30, 2015. EPA was activated on December 31, 2015 to the FEMA RRCC
