On May 11, 2016, the Chicago Department of Public Health reported an abandoned box trailer to the National Response Center. There are seventy 55 gallons drums and 10 to 20 various other sized containers of unknown materials. Two poly-drums were leaking. Field Screening tests indicate the material to be a strong acid (pH of 1). OSC Brown, START and the ERRS contractor responded to the incident on May 11 and coordinated response efforts with local responders.
