An EPA OSC and START contractors were dispatched to the AGE Refinery fire in San Antonio, Texas. A tanker truck exploded causing a chain reaction of fires and explosions in the fueling area of the refinery. A plume of smoke from the fire has led to the evacuation of people within one-mile. Two workers were injured and at least one worker is critically burned. EPA will coordinate with TCEQ and provide air monitoring support.
