OSC Williamson was dispatched Friday afternoon to the scene of a tanker spill. The tanker had been observed discharging its load to a small creek behind a QT on Fulton Industrial Boulevard. Sludge and wastewater were recovered and a small stormwater retention pond behind the QT was pumped down to give it some freeboard in case of a rain event while awaiting analytical results. The contents have been sampled but not positively identified.
